Developed by Singapore’s national water agency, PUB, NEWater is now being used by local brewer Brewerkz to produce beer, highlighting the country’s pioneering efforts to tackle water scarcity. As of 2024, the first batch of beer brewed with NEWater has been released, offering a new take on sustainability.
