EcoFlow has introduced an innovative backyard solar energy system called the Stream Series, designed for quick and easy installation without the need for professional help or permits. Starting at just $599, this plug-and-play system allows homeowners to generate solar power by simply connecting it to a standard 120V wall outlet. The system includes a microinverter that enables users to either use solar power directly or store it in batteries for backup during power outages, helping to reduce energy bills. The top-tier Stream Ultra model features a built-in grid-tied microinverter and a 1.92kWh LFP battery, which can be expanded to 11.52kWh, supporting up to 2000W of solar input. It’s also designed to perform in extreme temperatures, as low as -20°C, and is compatible with EcoFlow’s Oasis energy management platform for easy monitoring through the EcoFlow app.
This new solar solution represents a major step toward making renewable energy more accessible. By removing the need for installation crews and complex permits, EcoFlow is making it easier for people to adopt solar energy in their homes. The system’s modular design allows users to expand their energy storage capacity as their needs grow. With preorder prices available until July 31, customers can purchase the Stream Microinverter for $299, the Stream Ultra bundle for $1,459, and additional Ultra batteries for $1,199, offering an affordable and convenient way to reduce both carbon footprints and electricity costs.
